WOWSilica! is being retained by a Hot Startup company to seek a high-energy marketing professional to develop and grow their business in the video and digital multimedia markets. The candidate must have strong experience in digital multimedia markets such as video conferencing, video surveilance, digital broadcast video systems, etc.. Experience with marketing semiconductors and/or embedded board-level products is highly desirable.
The responsibilities will include product definition, inbound and outbound marketing, product management, competitive analysis, and partner/ecosystem development. This is a key leadership position within the company and the individual will drive the company's success in the video and multimedia market segment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Need a strong track record as a senior marketing manager or director, with experience marketing products into the OEM space.
Need excellent written and spoken communication skills, proactive leadership and the ability to cultivate strong customer relationships.
To be an effective team player who can work with other team members, including sales, engineering, and executive management to drive the business.
Ten to Fifteen years in the semiconductor industry and Five to Ten years marketing experience with promoting and marketing DSP, FPGA, and/or embedded processors is required.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
BSEE or equivalent required. MSEE preferred. MBA is a plus.
