Areas of responsibilities:
As a senior member of an Algorithms and Architecture team the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Definition of the algorithms and architecture for multiple projects: - motion adaptive de-interlacer; motion compensated de-interlacer; frame rate conversion; motion judder removal; motion blur reduction, et.; - MPEG artifacts reduction including de-blocking and mosquito noise reduction.
Communication with customers, marketing and SW/HW development teams to ensure future products to meet application requirements.
Participating in strict verification process to guarantee expected product performance.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
MSEE or MSCS (PhD preferred) with 5+ years of direct experience defining architecture of video processing ASICs. Hands-on knowledge of motion adaptive and motion estimation algorithms is necessary. MPEG-2 and H.264 standards knowledge is essential.
Successful candidate should demonstrate proficiency in DSP (digital signal processing) and filter design, knowledge of asynchronous design and system architecture. Working knowledge of Matlab and/or C/C++ as well as ability to understand VerilogRTL is a must.
Good verbal and communication skills including ability to deliver architecture specifications and customer presentation is required.
