* Design, create, document, and maintain real-time embedded firmware
and software components, drivers, and reference applications.
* Debug and resolve customer reported issues.
* Help verify hardware implementation of video compression algorithms.
* Assist with bringup and debugging of ASICs and reference boards.
The candidate must be dedicated, internally motivated, thorough, and
tenacious.
Among other skills, the candidate is expected to have:
* Strong experience with real-time embedded systems.
* In depth understanding of issues inherent in multi-threaded /
multiprocessing environment.
* A talent for debugging
* Practical knowledge of video compression standards, such as MPEG-2,
H.264, MPEG-4, and VC-1 is a big plus.
